Hi, I'm coach Lauren.

As a mom of four, I know first hand the commitment it takes to take care of our personal fitness while balancing our daily wants and needs at the same time.

Some things I really enjoy are hiking, skiing, paddle-boarding, traveling to the Caribbean and snorkeling, reading, and spending time with my family and friends. As I get older, I realize the importance of also trying new and "scary" things. It's important for me to se an example for my kids, but also keep working on my own barriers in life.

I choose to stay in movement - physically, mentally, and spiritually.

My background in exercise science first led me to personal training a wide variety of individuals, and I observed that true overall wellness and healthy living has to come from the autonomous individual…

I competed in triathlons and marathons and developed a joy in running - not just for physical reasons but for mental and emotional reasons as well.

I've taught hundreds of fitness classes - boot camps, cycling, core and cardio - I learned that working with people on one with focus on their specific physical and emotional needs was the most gratifying.

I really enjoy the one-on-one with focus connection with my clients and being able to see a look of pure joy after having accomplished a goal - no matter how big or small is what I love the most.

My Philosophy

I wasn't able to find peace in the daily training until I changed my mindset. I used to think that exercise is hard and it shouldn't be fun... that it's something I have to do.

But now, every day, I say - I GET to do this.

Exercise is not about punishment, being forced to do something.

It's about using your body in a way that feels right and reminds you that you are ALIVE and get to choose for yourself how you want to move, be challenged, and feel really good for your achievements. You get to discover what your amazing body is capable of and see yourself do things you've never done before.

Your self-determined goals are based on your current state of health, personal set of values, strengths, and inner wisdom. Lauren’s role in the client-coach relationship is to support, assist, motivate, and collaborate with empathy, positivity, and non-judgement as she knows the client is ultimately the expert on their own health.

I approach my coaching from a mind-body-spirit connection based philosophy for the best outcome for sustainable behavior health change.

Change is completely in the client’s hands, and how the process goes is up to the client. One’s own process to goal attainment is imperfect, non-linear, and is met with many barriers. However, no goal  is unachievable when it is broken into smaller, more manageable steps. Lauren’s goal is to help clients realize their potential so as they take each step in their change process, resilience and self-reliance is achieved. Every human deserves to live their BEST life at their fullest potential.

Common Health Behavior Change Goals

  1. Better Fitness (improved strength and/or endurance)

  2. Weight loss

  3. Sport conditioning for enhanced sport perfomance

  4. Better Sleep Hygiene

  5. Healthier Eating Habits

  6. Adherence to doctor prescribed lifestyle changes based on diagnosis

  7. Stress management through exercise, mindfulness, self-awareness

At the end of the day, you are the expert in your own life and health. I am here to encourage and support as well as provide resources for self-realization and growth.
